BODEGA VELÁSQUEZ

OUR HISTORY

In 2005 we bought our farm in the Pativilca valley, in a suitable area for vine plantations. We formed the family business and started planting the Italia, Quebranta, Albilla and Mollar varieties. We also implemented our own winery with the idea of creating a Pisco production company.
The 2007 vintage was exclusively destined for the production of aguardiente, and we obtained excellent quality products. Afterwards, we obtained the Authorization of Use of the Denomination of Origin for our Puro Italia and Acholado 4 Cepas.
In 2008 we started guided tours of our farm. Over the years we have been training our staff to improve our field management practices.

OUR WINERY AND WINEYARDS

Our farm is located in a highly favoured area: a warm and dry climate, irrigated with water that descends naturally from the snow-capped mountains of the Cordillera Huayhuash, where we find different varieties of mineral-rich soils that favor the development of various plantations. Altogether a very beautiful landscape.
